PEX ALUMINUM PEX PEX AL PEX Tubing diameters and lengths: ½’ 300’, 1000’ 1’ 100’, 250’, 600’ PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: PEX-AL-PEX Tubing for use in radiant heating applications. Meets/exceeds ASTM F1281, CSA B137.10 standards. Also certified for use in domestic water applications. UPC listed by IAPMO. Pressure rated at: 80 psi at 200 F, 160 psi at 140 F, 200 psi at 73 F. Packing: Box. Typical loop length for 1/2" PEX-AL-PEX varies from 250' to 350', depending of the application, supply temperatures, flow rates, etc. 300' is considered standard for typical concrete slab install. COMPATIBILITY: PEX-AL-PEX tubing can be installed using compression style PEX Fittings of Press type system (fittings, sleeves and tools) 1/2" PEX AL PEX tubing is commonly used for installing outdoor wood furnaces, solar systems, in floor applications and plumbing uses. PEX AL PEX is a tubing which has a layer of aluminum in it to prevent oxygen penetration. Plumbers like it because the pipe has a memory and stays where you bend it, a lot more like copper tubing.
